It's been almost a month since Ajith's biggest film in terms of hype, Valimai, hit the screens. The action flick is set for a digital premiere as well; it will drop on Zee5 on March 25. The project brought together Ajith, director Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor for the second time.
Vijay Velukutty, the editor of the movie, has now taken to social media to pen a heartfelt note to the team, especially Ajith, Vinoth and Boney. He also posted a few working stills from the location. Vijay said that it was quite a learning experience to work with Vinoth who he had admired after watching Theeran Adhigaram Ondru and Sathuranga Vettai.
According to him, working with the filmmaker for two years made him more disciplined. All praise for Ajith's determination, energy and focus, Vijay said that he witnessed the star's commitment to profession while shooting for the interval action block which was shot in Russia.
He also reminisced about Ajith asking him how the editing of the film has been shaping up. "Your blood and sweat in the action - bike chases, off-ride biking, the bus sequence - are one of the major pillars to this entertaining outcome, sir. And it was hard to not spill even one gem of your effort through the multiple takes in any of the scenes. Thank you, sir (sic)," he wrote.
He also believes that it was the unrelenting efforts from Boney Kapoor which made the project what it is today. Vijay also appreciated the veteran producer for the freedom he provides to the team members.
Vijay thanked music director Yuvan Shankar Raja, stunt master Dhilip Subbarayan, art director Kadhir and cinematographer Nirav Shah, too. He also recollected the experiences he gained from working in 70 movies with his mentor Suresh Urs.
