The first look poster for actor Ashok Selvan’s upcoming film was released by actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Arya and others on Friday. Titled Emakku Thozhil Romance, the film is directed by debutant filmmaker Balaji Kesavan. The first look shows the lead actors, Ashok Selvan and Avantika Mishra, looking at each other romantically as they embrace each other.
Ashok Selvan’s next film launched
Produced by T Creations and M Thirumalai, Ashok Selvan’s next film has been launched. The film has been titled Emakku Thozhil Romance. The film will feature Avantika Mishra as the female lead. Tipped to be a romantic comedy film, the film is directed by debutant director Balaji Kesavan. The upcoming film will be a romantic comedy, exploring the love of the protagonist, the subsequent problems caused by it, and how his family and friends help him.
Besides Ashok Selvan and Avantika Mishra, Emakku Thozhil Romance also stars veteran actor Urvashi in a pivotal role, along with Azhagar Perumal, Bucks, MS Bhaskar, Vijay Varadaraj, Badava Gopi and others. The film has music scored by Nivas K Prasanna, with Ganesh Chandra in charge of the cinematography. Jerome Allen has worked as the editor. A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
Ashok Selvan’s line-up of films
Ashok Selvan was last seen in the critically-acclaimed film Blue Star. The cricket-based drama is currently streaming on Prime Video. Ashok was highly appreciated for his performance. On the other hand, he also has a film titled Pon Ondru Kanden, co-starring Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vasanth Ravi. After a television premiere of the film was announced by Colors TV Tamil, Vasanth Ravi took to social media to call out and reveal that the cast and the team had not communicated about the premiere. The film is directed by Priya V Kamakshi.
Meanwhile, speculations have also raised the possibility that Ashok Selvan will once again with Por Thozhil director Vignesh Raja for a film. However, an official announcement is yet to be made by them.
