The actor, who recently opened up about his choices of movies and people who have inspired him, revealed he wishes to do a Neeraj Chopra’s biopic. He said that the Olympian has been an inspiration to him, and he would love to take up a part if his biopic is ever made, as quoted by Republicworld.com.
Neeraj has turned into a youth icon as he made his Olympic debut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He made history by winning the gold medal in javelin throw and becoming the second Indian to win an individual medal in the games. He is also the youngest Indian to win an Olympics medal.
Ayushmann highlighted the ace performance of the athlete and said that he should be saluted. He also added about how these kinds of achievements should be celebrated, and how such stories should be given more exposure.
