S.S. Rajamouli is in the limelight after the release of his latest movie, RRR. The movie, starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, has been wreaking havoc at the box office since its release on March 25.
While all the news is about RRR, there has been some talk about a possible third Baahubaali movie as well. After the director reportedly hinted at the possibility of a third movie, producer Prasad Devineni has now opened up about it.
Talking to Pinkvilla, Devineni said, “What he (SS Rajamouli) was saying is that there is scope in the Baahubali world to tell another story. The world is there, and the characters are larger than life. But we are not looking to start immediately, because he has got a couple of commitments.”
He added that they will think about the project after his commitments are done and also said that they will definitely try to make it at some point if everything falls into place. He confirmed that there is no effort being put into it right now.
Rajamouli’s father and writer, KV Vijayendra Prasad also spoke to the portal about the same. He said that the project with Mahesh Babu has to be finished first before they can think about anything.
The 2015 film, Baahubali: The Beginning put S.S. Rajamouli on the map across the country and the sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion in 2017 broke multiple records following its release.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli’s RRR has already broken many records set by the Baahubali movies, and is currently available in theatres across the country in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
