Babu Antony, who is collaborating with Fahadh Faasil in Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, has penned a touching note on the actor and the internet is loving it.

Babu Antony was one of the macho villains of the late 80s and 90s Malayalam cinema. He featured in Poovinnu Puthiya Poonthennal, starring Mammootty and directed by Fazil. Decades later, Babu Antony is now working with Fazil's son Fahadh in Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira. In an Instagram post, Babu Antony has remarked about his days from Poovinu Puthiya Poonthennal when Fahadh was a little boy.
Sharing memories from the set of the 1986 movie, Babu Antony wrote on Instagram, “The little boy who played on my lap while doing Poovinnu Puthiya Poonthennal has become a pan Indian star today.”
While sharing adorable pictures with Fahadh Faasil, Babu Antony also remarked, “We had such a lovely time today at the locations of "Odum kuthira chadum kuthira" directed by Althaf Salim.”

For those of you who are not familiar with the 80s Malayalam cinema, Poovinnu Puthiya Poonthennal starred Mammootty in the lead role. The film revolves around a deaf-and-mute boy who witnesses his mother being killed. He escapes and later ends up with Kiran (Mammootty), who takes care of him. The film directed by Fazil featured Babu Antony as one of the villains, who killed the mother. The 1986 Malayalam film is now available for streaming on JioHotstar.
Meanwhile, Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil, is Althaf Salim’s sophomore directorial venture after Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela. Babu Antony also plays a key role in the film, which has Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead.
