Baby OTT release date: Director Sai Rajesh hints at a new streaming date, deets inside

Baby is a film that has caught the attention of many. The manner in which the film is attracting an audience even in its third week shows what kind of a hit the film is. Sai Rajesh has directed the film and SKN has produced it on his Mass Movie Makers. The film has grossed over Rs 70 crores which is a rare phenomenon for a small film in Telugu cinema.

The success celebrations were held in Hyderabad yesterday and megastar Chiranjeevi graced the event as the chief guest and spoke highly about the film and how it shocked him multiple times. This presence of Chiranjeevi has given the film a new push at the ticketing windows and the film is being loved by one and all.

We at OTTplay had already reported that the Telugu streaming giant, Aha has bagged the OTT rights to the film. We also revealed that the film will have its digital streaming from August 19, 2023. But seeing the hype for the film in the theaters, the makers have postponed the release and this was also confirmed by us a few days back.

Speaking about the film, director Sai Rajesh says that the OTT release has been postponed and Baby will only release on OTT in the second week of September. Allu Aravind, the owner of Aha and a close associate of the makers of Baby has taken this decision. 

Even the makers have never imagined that this film made under a budget of Rs 10 crores would make that kind of money in its theatrical release. So, one has no choice but to wait till September to watch Baby on the big screen.
