It was a year ago that the lyric video, Kaadhal Kanmani, from Bachelor, released, which later went on to become a chartbuster. The team released the film's teaser a couple of months later. A month ago, they had released another song, too. Now, Gautham Menon, Aishwarya Rajesh, Pa Ranjith, Vignesh Shivan and Lokesh Kanagaraj came together in unveiling the movie's trailer.

The two-minute trailer features GV Prakash and debutant Divyabharathi as a young and aggressive couple who are obsessed with each other. It begins with a tag line 'Lust has become more dominant than love', followed by a folk song.

Going by the trailer, the character essayed by GV Prakash becomes over obsessed with his girlfriend during their live-in relationship and resorts to domestic violence. What happens when his lover files a complaint with the cops forms the rest of the story. Muniskanth and Bhagavathi Perumal will be seen playing important roles in the movie.

Directed by Sathish Selvakumar, Bachelor, which has been bankrolled by G Dillibabu of Axess Film Factory, has cinematography by Theni Eswar and editing by San Lokesh. Siddhu Kumar, who has composed the background score, has scored music for songs, too, along with Dhibu Ninan Thomas and AH Kaashif.

The romantic drama is all set for a theatrical release on December 3, along with Atharvaa's Thalli Pogathey and Maran's Anti Indian. GV Prakash's long-delayed project, Jail, directed by Vasanthabalan, will release in movie halls on December 9.

The actor-composer's last outing was Rajesh's Vanakkam Da Mappilei (streaming on Sun NXT), which had a television premiere earlier this year. He currently has around 10 projects among which Ayngaran was supposed to have a direct release on SonyLIV a few months ago.
