Bad Boyz, helmed by Omar Lulu, released in theatres way back in September 2024. The Malayalam film, which stars Rahman and Babu Antony, has finally made its OTT premiere. Interestingly, the Malayalam action comedy is now available on two platforms – Amazon Prime Video and Manorama Max. Here’s all you need to know about the film.

Omar Lulu's Bad Boyz has finally made its OTT premiere, more than six months after its theatrical release. You can stream Bad Boyz on Amazon Prime Video and Manorama Max. The movie is available only in the original Malayalam language with English subtitles.
The film had a lacklustre run at the theatres, and it remains to be seen if Bad Boyz attracts any viewers, now that it is on two streaming platforms.
Bad Boyz cast and crew
Black actor Rahman has starred in the lead role in this film, along with Babu Antony, Senthil Krishna, Bibin George, Sheelu Abraham, and Anson Paul in other key roles. Harisree Ashokan, Ramesh Pisharody, Aju Varghese, Sajin Cherukayil, Saiju Kurup, Tini Tom, Bheeman Raghu and Bala are also part of the film.
Sarang Jayaprakash wrote the screenplay and dialogues, while Dilip Dennis served as the editor. Alby Antony has handled the cinematography of the movie, which has music by William Francis. The film follows Antappan (played by Rahman) and his buddies who take on Vettukadu Belson's drug mafia. Babu Antony is seen in the role of Belson.
Dhyan Sreenivasan, who has featured in movies such as Varshangalkku Shesham and Malayalee from India, was seen in a brief role in the film. Both Varshangalkku Shesham and Malayalee from India are available for streaming on OTTplay Premium.

Basil Joseph’s Pravinkoodu Shappu is the latest Malayalam film to drop on SonyLiv and OTTplay Premium. Before that, Asif Ali’s Rekhachithram, which also featured Anaswara Rajan, in a key role, also made its OTT debut on OTTplay Premium. Unni Mukundan's violent actioner Marco is also available for streaming.
