It is a Valentine's Week battle between Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's Loveyapa and Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravikumar. To people's surprise, the latter is currently running ahead in the race, at least when these two movies are in competition (they are the latest offerings from Bollywood). While Loveyapa has come close to beating it, the movie is not quite there yet. Monday looked equally disappointing for both, except for the fact that Himesh Reshammiya beat his own records. Here's how...

Himesh Reshammiya beats his own record

Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravikumar has surpassed the first weekend Box Office collections of his own previous films. The movie minted Rs. 6.75 crore on day 4, which is more than his films Karzzzz, Happy Hardy And Heer, Kajraare, Radio, and Damadamm! Whether he can beat their lifetime box office run and set a new record for himself by beating his other movies - Teraa Surroor, The Xpose, and Aap Ka Suroor - remains to be seen.

Badass Ravikumar had a better first weekend when compared to Loveyapa. The former earned Rs. 6.15 crore, while the latter minted Rs. 4.55 crore. On its first Monday, though, Badass Ravikumar earned Rs. 60 lakh and Loveyapa minted Rs. 47 lakh, according to Sacnilk.

Sanam Teri Kasam re-release steals the show

While Badass Ravikumar and Loveyapa might be in competition, Sanam Teri Kasam's re-release is the clear winner. Within four days, the Harshvardhan Rane-Mawra Hocane starrer minted Rs. 18.50 crore, which is double its original lifetime run of Rs. 9 crore nine years back. So clearly, Sanam Teri Kasam is here for the win, eyeing five times the original run by the end of week 1 itself. Of course, things are likely to change once Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava is out in theatres this Friday i.e. on February 14, which is Valentine’s Day.
