Loveyapa box office collection day 3: Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor made their silver screen debut with Advait Chandan's film, Loveyapa. The romantic comedy hit the big screen on February 7, 2025, a week before Valentine's Day. This movie clashed with Himesh Reshammiya's Badass Ravi Kumar at the box office. Loveyapa got a box office opening of Rs 1.25 crore, followed by a collection of Rs 1.75 crore. Wondering how much it earned on day three? Let's find out...

Loveyapa box office report day 3

Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film Loveyapa opened to mixed reviews from critics and audiences. The feedback resulted in the film's slow start at the box office. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the rom-com minted Rs 1.65 crore at the ticket window. Taking that into account, the three-day total stands at Rs 4.65 crore.

Produced by AGS Entertainment and Phantom Studios, Loveyapa revolves around the life of a couple who are forced to exchange their phones for a day. What follows next is a series of chaos and comedy. While Loveyapa marked Junaid and Khushi's big screen debuts, they made their acting debuts with Netflix movies. Junaid was seen in the 2024 film Maharaj and Khushi featured in the 2023 film The Archies.

Junaid Khan was skeptical about doing Loveyapa

In an interview with Indian Express, Junaid Khan revealed he was skeptical about playing the lead role in Advait Chandan's Loveyapa. The actor said, "I was a bit surprised that they wanted me because I felt like my personality was so far away from the character. I asked him if he was sure he wanted me to play the role. I wouldn’t be casting me in this part, but Advait (Chandan) and Madhu (Mantena) sir seemed pretty confident."

Meanwhile, Loveyapa will have its OTT premiere after the theatrical run. The buzz is that Junaid and Khushi's Gen Z love story will drop on Disney+ Hotstar. The rom-com's official OTT release has not been announced yet.
