Loveyapa Box Office Collection Day 1: This week at the big screen is probably the most crowded one we’ve seen in a long time. It offers a buffet of superstars, returning actors, and everything in between. At the center of it all is Loveyapa, marking the theatrical debut of fresh faces Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Loveyapa Box Office Update

Directed by Laal Singh Chaddha fame Advait Chandan, the movie stars Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan and Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles. Adapted from the English film Love Today, the movie hit the big screen on February 7, 2025. However, according to the latest reports, Loveyapa has struggled to meet its estimated box office numbers, which is concerning given the buzz surrounding its promotions. 

As per Sacnilk, Loveyapa earned just Rs 1.25 crore at the domestic box office on its opening day. Although the film had a slow start in the morning, it gained some momentum by the evening and managed to post modest earnings. However, for a film of this scale, these numbers are underwhelming, and it will need a stronger performance to survive amid the crowded lineup of films currently running in theaters.

Loveyapa faced a direct clash with Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar and Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, which has re-released on IMAX screens. Additionally, Sky Force and Emergency are still playing in theaters. The Junaid Khan-led film has only a week to recover, as Chhaava, releasing on February 14, is expected to dominate the box office and overshadow other films.
