Uttar Pradesh police lathi-charged a frenzied crowd at an event, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in Lucknow. Videos of the incident have spread like wildfire across social media platforms. By looking at a few videos, it appears that a stampede was prevented by timely action by the police officials. However, this development has sparked safety concerns among stars and their fans.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan promotional event in Lucknow mismanaged?

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are currently engaged in promoting their upcoming action film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Their promotional tour took them to Lucknow on Monday, where they made a spectacular entrance, captivating fans with live stunts. However, the event took an unexpected turn as chaos erupted, momentarily disrupting the show.

Amid the excitement, the situation escalated when the large crowd triggered a stampede-like situation, causing chaos and panic. Viral videos showed some individuals throwing slippers toward the stage.

Security personnel acted swiftly to restore order and ensure everyone's safety. Despite the interruption, Akshay and Tiger remained composed, reassuring fans and urging for calm. Several slippers were scattered on the ground amidst the commotion. Once the situation was under control, the promotional activities resumed, allowing fans to interact with their favourite stars.

Taking to microblogging site X, one social media user said, “A massive 20,000-strong crowd gathered in Lucknow for the Bade Miyan Chote Miyan promo, where the magic of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff unfolded, creating a Bollywood promotion like never before; the energy soared, prompting the police to gently step in and manage the excited fans.”

“Stampede-like situation at the event of actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who reached the capital Lucknow for the promotion of the film Chhote Miyan Bade Miyan. Disturbing!” said another X user.

Meanwhile, let us tell you that Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is expected to be released theatrically on April 11, coinciding with the Eid festivities.
