On the special occasion, filmmaker Kabir shared unseen glimpses of the actors from the set and penned a heartwarming note.
Kabir Khan celebrates 10 years of Bajrangi Bhaijaan
On July 17, Kabir Khan took to his Instagram account and shared 20 new behind-the-scenes pictures from the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sets featuring himself, Salman Khan, Harshaali Malhotra, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Sharing those golden moments, Kabir penned, "Happy Bajrangi Day. It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Bajrangi Bhaijaan first found its way into people’s hearts. Over the last decade I have been totally overwhelmed by the love this film keeps accumulating all over the world."
He further added that they set out to tell a story of love and hope in a world that sometimes forgets these emotions. "To this day I meet people who tell me how this film makes them laugh and cry every time they see it. And that to me, is the real reward - knowing that Bajrangi didn’t just entertain, it healed," he concluded.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan revolves around the heartwarming journey of Pawan, an Indian man who goes all out to bring back a lost, mute Pakistani girl, Munni, to her family across the border. Nawazuddin Siddiqui played the role of a journalist, Chand Nawab, who also helped Pawan in returning Munni to her home.
Is Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 on the cards?
Speaking with Pinkvilla, Kabir Khan shared that there had been discussions about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2. "We are being careful about Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 as we don’t want to make a sequel to the most popular film of last two decades for the sake of it. Salman and I are in complete agreement on the fact that we need to come across a story that’s as exciting as Bajrangi Bhaijaan,” he shared.
