Bakaiti Ending Explained

Bakaiti revolves around the Kataria family in old Ghaziabad, facing financial challenges. The story focuses on the strained relationship between siblings Naina and Bharat when they are forced to share a house due to their family's need to rent a room for additional income. They come up with various business ideas to make money by avoiding the room-sharing arrangement, but their efforts fail. 

After several failed attempts, one tenant comes, and Naina starts to grow feelings for him. Meanwhile, Sanjay and his family continue to have pointless arguments with his brother, Ajay, and his family, as the latter wants to sell their ancestral house where Sanjay lives after their father's death. When Ajay asks Sanjay to share half of the bill that was used for their father's treatment, Sanjay becomes flabbergasted and helplessly decides to use the fixed deposit that he kept for his daughter's post-graduation course. 

When Naina comes to know about this, and also the news of his cousin going to London, she feels irritated and leaves her house on her birthday as she aims to go to Mumbai for her post-graduation. This changes the whole scenario for the Kataria family, but their 'bakaiti' never stops.

When the Kataria family starts to worry about their daughter, Naina, her brother, Bharat, figures out where she could be. He finds her sitting in a park, enjoying her favorite dessert, kulfi. After all the drama, Bharat and Naina return to their home, and the whole Kataria family reunites, and Sanjay promises Naina that he will send her to her desired college for post-graduation. Thus, the Kataria family deals with the crisis together and proves that a family might face problems while dealing with life, but solving problems together can heal the hearts. At the end, Bakaiti hints at a season 2 as the background voice says that they will again come back with the 'bakaiti' of the family.
