Barroz is undoubtedly the most eagerly-awaited movie of 2024 as the film marks the directorial debut of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal. The makers of the Mohanlal directorial shared a new poster from the period drama on New Year’s Eve. The upcoming film is slated to be released on March 28, which is headlined by Mohanlal himself as Barroz, protector of Vasco da Gama’s hidden treasure for more than four centuries.

An invisible horse or a horse prop?

Actor Mohanlal took to his social media pages to extend New Year wishes to the fans and also shared the latest poster, featuring the actor’s character Barroz. The poster features Barroz in an intense look, wearing a royal red suit. The regal-looking Barroz is also seen wielding a sword in one had. But what caught the viewers’ attention is the ‘horse’ he is seated on. The character seems to be seated on a prop, which is in the shape a horse with golden embellishments, as a real horse is nowhere to be seen. With the film being a fantasy period drama, the latest post heightens the curiosity among fans who are keen to know what the Malayalam superstar has in store for us!
