Mammootty has confirmed that his film Bazooka, earlier scheduled for release in February 2025, would now hit theatres during the festive season of Vishu. The Malayalam star announced the new release date of Bazooka with a stylish poster. The big-budget film is directed by debutant Deeno Dennis.
The latest Bazooka poster announces that the film will arrive in cinemas worldwide on April 10, 2025.
A couple of days ago, OTTplay reported that Bazooka will not be releasing in theatres on February 14, 2205, as the team had to complete the CGI work. Now, the megastar himself has confirmed this and announced the new date to be April 10, 2025.
Despite the postponement, fans would be excited that a Mammootty film would be released in Kerala on April 10, amid the festive celebrations
Mammootty, who manages to remain a style icon despite being in the industry for over four decades, looks dapper as usual in the new poster of Bazooka. The megastar, in a black suit complete with shades, stands next to a vintage car. The setting of the poster seems to be in a factory area with smoke billowing on one side.
The team has been dropping similar posters and a teaser of the film, giving a peek into the world of Bazooka, and keeping the fans excited.
Gautham Vasudev Menon, who recently made his directorial debut in Malayalam with Dominic and the Ladies' Purse, will be seen in a key role in Bazooka. Interestingly, his Malayalam directorial debut was headlined by Mammootty, and now in Bazooka, the Malayalam megastar and popular Tamil filmmaker would share screen space.
Sidharth Bharathan, Hakim Shahjahan, and Bhama Arun also appear in key roles along with Babu Antony, Divya Pillai and Spadikam George in the film.
The film, touted to be a game thriller, is directed by Deeno Dennis who is the son of noted scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis.
