Beer Song: This romantic track from Harish Kalyan, Athulya Ravi's Diesel is an instantly likeable melody

The makers of Diesel, starring Harish Kalyan and Athulya Ravi in lead roles, had revealed recently that Anirudh Ravichander would unveil the first single of the film. Titled Beer Song, Dhibu Ninan Thomas has composed the music for the romantic track which has voice lent by Gana Guna and lyrics penned by Rokesh.

The chemistry between Harish and Athulya is one highlight of the video song while its orchestration is the other positive aspect. The north Madras-style rendition of the song, relatable lyrics and pleasant dance choreography by Apsar stand out in the entertaining promo video which also features Dhibu and Guna composing and singing the track respectively.

After releasing the song from his Twitter page, Anirudh wished success to the team and heaped praise on Dhibu's music. The excited latter thanked the trendsetting composer for being supportive and expressed excitement on the Vikram composer's forthcoming films.

Shanmugam Muthusamy has directed the movie which has cinematography by MS Prabhu and editing by San Lokesh. Rajasekhar and Rembon Balraj have handled action choreography and art direction respectively for the project which has been produced by Devarajulu Markandeyan of SP Cinemas.                   

Vinay, Sai Kumar, Ananya and Vivek Prasanna among others play key roles in Diesel which will be released this year. The makers had unveiled its first look posters a while ago and the release date is likely to be announced soon.

Diesel will be Harish's first theatrical release in the post-pandemic era. After Dharala Prabhu which hit the screens a few days before the lockdown was implemented, he had two outings which had direct OTT releases.
