Pradeep Ranganathan will be starring in Ashwath Marimuthu directorial titled Dragon

Earlier in the day, actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan and director Ashwath Marimuthu’s film got its title. Production house AGS Entertainment, which is currently backing the much-expected Vijay-starrer The Goat, is bankrolling the film. Called Dragon, the film is set to go on floors from Monday more details on the project are expected to be unveiled as the shoot progresses. Comali released in 2019 and is a comedy drama, starring actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role. The film is written and directed by Pradeep Ranganathan in his directorial debut and also features Kajal Aggarwal, Yogi Babu, Samyuktha Hegde and K. S. Ravikumar among others. Comali is about someone who falls into coma and wakes up after 16 years in a world which has changed completely. The film was a commercial success which earned Pradeep a name as a director in Tamil cinema.

Love Today is a romantic comedy film about two lovers who take their relationship to the girl's father. Very much against this, the father plots a plan to break their relationship by asking both of them to exchange their phones for some time. This sprawls into a comedy of errors as each of them gets to know things that the other person had kept hidden until now. The film marks the acting debut of Pradeep, who also directed the film. Love Today is based on Pradeep's short film App(a) Lock and also stars Ivana, Raveena Ravi, Yogi Babu, Sathyaraj, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Akshaya Udayakumar.

Oh My Kadavule is a romantic fantasy film directed by Ashwath in his debut. Featuring actors Ashok Selvan, Ritika Singh and Vani Bhojan while Sha Ra and MS Bhaskar in pivotal roles, the film also features Vijay Sethupathi and Ramesh Thilak making extended cameo appearances. The film revolves around two best friends who marry out of convenience only to realise that their marriage is not successful. But one day when the husband gets a second chance, will he grab it?
