Horror films have become an integral part of Tollywood, with several new projects emerging regularly. However, only a few manage to succeed. The latest addition to the genre is Bhavani Ward 1997, a unique thriller with an intriguing backdrop.

Produced by Chandrakanta Solanki and G.D. Narasimha, the film is directed by G.D. Narasimha himself. The trailer, which was released today, has generated interest among audiences.

Gayatri Gupta, known for her role in Fidaa, plays the lead character, a doctor. The trailer introduces her entering the mysterious Bhavani Ward after a patient is brought in for treatment. However, the ward has a terrifying reputation, and none of the hospital staff are willing to go there, as it is believed to be haunted. Gayatri’s character bravely steps in, only for strange and unsettling events to unfold.

As the trailer progresses, it introduces various other characters and hints at the dark history of Bhavani Ward, explaining why it remains abandoned despite being within the hospital premises.

Bhavani Ward 1997 star cast details

Along with Gayatri Gupta, the film features Ganesh Reddy, Pooja Kendre, Sai Satish, Jabardasth Appa Rao, and Eshwar Babu Dhulipudi in key roles. With the trailer launch, the makers have also confirmed that Bhavani Ward 1997 is set to release on February 7, 2025. Nissin Justin has composed the music for this film.

Noted producer Raj Kandukuri unveiled the trailer and shared his appreciation, stating that despite having a mostly fresh cast, the performances and thrilling elements look engaging. Speaking about the film, director G.D. Narasimha emphasized that the music will be spine-chilling, and the trailer is just a glimpse of what’s to come.

Sai Satish, who plays a crucial role, thanked Raj Kandukuri for his support and hinted that his character plays a pivotal role at a crucial point in the story. In the coming days, more promotional content will be released to build anticipation for the film. Stay tuned for more updates.
