Bhimaa is Gopichand's latest film, which was made on a big budget. The cop drama had to click at any cost, as Gopichand has been witnessing a series of flops. Well, the latest update is that the digital release date has been locked for April 25, 2024. Hotstar made its surprise announcement about Gaami's OTT release on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi. There was news that Bhimaa would be out on OTT within a month of its release, as it did not fare well at the box office. But that did not happen, and it will now be out on April 25.

Harsha, the popular Kannada director, helmed this film that was made on a budget of Rs 25 crore. This is the highest ever in Gopichand's career. Sri Satya Sai Arts is the production house behind his film, and the news is that they have landed in a safe zone thanks to this lucrative OTT deal.
The pre-release business of Bhimaa was locked at Rs 14 crore worldwide, but sadly, the action drama did not even make Rs 10 crore and was out of theatres after its first weekend. Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma played the female leads in this film, which has a semi-fantasy backdrop loaded with gripping action.
Ravi Basrur composed the music for this film, and his background score was criticised as it was quite weak and did not elevate the action blocks as expected. Gopichand is busy shooting his new film, whose first look will be out on April 11, 2024. Popular director Sreenu Vaitla is making a comeback with this film, which is a comedy-drama with an action backdrop.
