Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Box Office collection day 8: Kartik Aaryan’s film is inches away from the Rs 100 crore mark

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is continuing its impressive box office run. A week after its release, the film is inching closer and closer to the prestigious Rs 100 crore club, although it’s not quite there yet.

Kartik Aaryan’s horror comedy managed to rake in Rs 6.52 crores on its 8th day at the box office, the second Friday after its release. The latest numbers take the film’s total box office collections to Rs 98.57 crores, and the film is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark within a day.

In its first week, the horror comedy raked in Rs. 92.05 crores. The film had witnessed one of the biggest opening days of recent Bollywood releases, raking in a hefty Rs. 14.11 crores. The film became Aaryan’s biggest openers, and found a place as the fourth best opener in Bollywood in the post pandemic era.

The film earned its biggest single day collection on its third day at the box office, earning Rs. 23.51 crore. Its collective earnings during its first weekend only was over Rs 40 crores.

In addition to Aaryan, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 also starred Kiara Advani, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in pivotal roles. The film was directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar, and has music composed by Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi. The film is a sequel to the 2007 film directed by Priyadarshan, which starred Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja, and Ameesha Patel.

After its theatrical run, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will be available to stream on Netflix.
