Wamiqa Gabbi's period drama, Jubilee, was well-received by the audience. It was released on Prime Video in 2023. The fans are eagerly awaiting the season 2 announcement. The actress recently shared an update on Jubilee season 2. Meanwhile, the series also stars Prosenjit Chatterjee and Aparshakti Khurana.

In a recent interview with IANS, Wamiqa Gabbi, who is gearing up for Bhool Chuk Maaf release, was asked about the possibility of Jubilee season 2. The actress said, "I think it's in writing. I only know this much. I have no idea what they are writing. I am also waiting to know more about it. I have only this much update about it."

About Jubilee

The series is set in the golden age of Hindi cinema in 1947. It follows the intertwined stories of a studio owner, his wife, a promising actor, and a courtesan, as they navigate love, ambition, and the challenges of pre-partition India. Wamiqa played the role of Niloufer Querishi, a courtesan from Lucknow, looking for opportunities in Bombay after the Partition. This series explores themes of love, ambition, and the complexities of the film industry of the time.

Amid the increased security measures nationwide, the makers of Bhool Chuk Maaf announced that the film will not be released in theaters anymore. Instead, the viewers can enjoy Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's rom-com film directly on Amazon Prime Video, streaming from May 16, 2025. 

The statement read, “In light of recent events and the heightened security drills across the nation, we at Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to bring our family entertainer, Bhool Chuk Maaf, directly to your homes on May 16-only on Prime Video, worldwide”.

“While we were eagerly looking forward to celebrating this film with you in theaters, the spirit of the nation comes first. JAI HIND,” it added.

Directed by Karan Sharma, the film stars Rajkummar Rao as Ranjan and Wamiqa Gabbi as Titli. They are stuck in the cycle of time, waking up every day on the morning of their haldi ceremony, creating a series of fun chaos and entertainment. Backed by Maddock Film, it also features Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, and Raghubir Yadav in key roles.
