After Sky Force and Chhaava, Maddock Films is returning with another riveting film—Bhool Chuk Maaf. The makers have unveiled the teaser for their upcoming touching romantic comedy. Dinesh Vijan is presenting Bhool Chuk Maaf in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios. Karan Sharma wrote and directed the film, which stars Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi in an unexpected yet likely entertaining pairing.
Plot overview: Small-town romance with a twist
The movie beautifully portrays the charm of a small-town romance, taking place in Varanasi. In order to marry the woman he loves, Ranjan takes a job with the government. He harbors a strong romantic streak. People say that if you don't behave well, you'll find yourself stranded. However, in the days leading up to the wedding, a series of misfortunes upend his world, leading him on a poignant and humorous journey of love, atonement, and destiny.
The teaser shows Rao's and Gabbi's characters gearing up for their wedding at their respective houses. During the Haldi ceremony, an earthen pot falls from the terrace and people ignore it like nothing happened. However, when Rao wakes up the next morning, it's another Haldi ceremony, and the same incident takes place. Thus, he comes to the realization that he finds himself trapped in a time loop, unable to reach his wedding date. No one except him has been stuck in the loop and he doesn't know how to get out of it.
Anticipation builds
Is the day either the 19th or 20th? The only difference is nineteen-twenty! But what's the issue here?
Now we have to wait and watch how the film unfolds and how Rao saves himself in this obnoxious race against time.
