Bhuvan Bam to make his digital debut with Hotstar Specials Taaza Khabar; see his announcement

YouTube personality-comedian-actor Bhuvan Bam revealed the title with which he will be making his digital debut soon. He shared a picture of him reading the script of the Hotstar Special Taaza Khabar today.

In the caption, Bhuvan asked his friends and followers to wish him luck with this new venture. He added it was their support that has "been a boon" for him.

News agency IANS had previously written that Bhuvan will be seen as a "novel character" in the series that he is producing via his banner BB Ki Vines Productions.

Here is Bhuvan's post:

"The fact that I get to do this with one of the leading platforms of India, has put me over the moon. I am excited to see the love my fans and subscribers of the platform will shower on the new character and show," he said in a statement.

Taaza Khabar is created by Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal with Himank Gaur directing. The idea is conceptualised by Aziz Dal. Joining Bhuvan as a producer is Rohit Raj. 

Bhuvan was previously seen in Dhindora, available on YouTube, which featured many characters from his BB ki Vines YouTube days. He is not the first YouTuber to branch out into the mainstream space. Only recently CarryMinati made his feature debut in Ajay Devgn's directorial Runway 34. 

Meanwhile, Prajakta Koli has starred in the Netflix series Mismatched and will reprise her role in its sequel. She's also making her feature film outing in Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
