Bigg Boss 17: All you wanted to know about Sana Raees Khan, the criminal lawyer

Now that the much-awaited ‘Bigg Boss 17’ ultimately got premiered yesterday, this season will be seeing an extremely cross section of contestants who will be competing with each other for the much-coveted prize. This season’s contestants range from a bike vlogger to a rumoured ex-couple at loggerheads, to an ex-crime reporter to a foreign pharmacist amongst others! To begin with, who is Sana Raees Khan?
Sana Raees Khan was the criminal lawyer who had represented Aryan Khan's friend Avin Sahu in the case. Avin Sahu also happens to be the first accused to have gotten bail in the case. Besides that, by her own admission on the show, Sana Raees Khan had said that she had played an important role in the Sheena Bora murder case, wherein she was Indrani Mukerjea’s lawyer.

Is she the first ever captain of the Bigg Boss house?
Well… seeing the criminal lawyer Sana Raees Khan and the ex-crime journalist Jigna Vora on the same stage, Salman Khan decided to give them an opportunity to prove why they were one up over the other and also, why should they be made the first ever captain of the house, even before they can enter the Bigg Boss house. Seeing both Sana Raees Khan and Jigna Vora at par with each other when it came to proving their point in their verbal debate, Salman Khan decided not to make either of them the captain of the house.

Why is Sana Raees Khan in the Bigg Boss 17 house?
Actually, Sana Raees Khan was just rope in by the show’s makers to be a contestant of ‘Bigg Boss17’. This was reportedly because the former Miss India Manasvi Mamgai had decided to back out of Bigg Boss 17 at the last moment. And as per a report in Bombay Times, the criminal lawyer Sana Raees Khan had been signed overnight as her replacement.

Any previous reality show that she has been a part of?
Nopes! Even though she is quite active on social media, ‘Bigg Boss 17’ will be her first ever reality show as a participant. One look at her social media account, its majorly filled with newspaper cuttings of the many cases that she had fought and won!

What can one expect from Sana Raees Khan in the Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 17?
Besides being loaded with information galore, if her entry and her presence on the show is anything to go by, then, she definitely comes across as a no-nonsense lady. What remains to be seen is her reaction during the tasks where the other contestants will be made to push their limits!
