The 81stday of Bigg Boss 17 saw Abhishek Kumar slapping Samarth Jurel while Ankita Lokhande becomes the new captain!

The day starts off with the contestants waking up to the Bigg Boss 17’s anthem. This is followed by the much talked about fight between Abhishek Kumar on one side and Samarth Jurel and Ankita Lokhande on the other side. Amidst all this, Samarth Jurel calls Abhishek as ‘Abhishek Kumar shauchalaaya’. Isha Malviya, then, joins in the fight against Abhishek Kumar by saying that, “Nominated Abhishek Kumar ab bhaukne lagein hain”. Not the one to leave Abhishek, Samarth walks along with him and taunts him non-stop… only to trigger him. Vicky Jain, on the other hand, sits on the sofa and laughs at the whole thing.
Abhishek Kumar, then, tells Bigg Boss that he is being poked very badly and that he should not be blamed if he raises his hand. Abhishek Kumar, then, tells Isha that, ever since the day she left him, he has not been able to show his face anywhere and to anyone. Amidst all this, Samarth comes extremely face to face with Abhishek Kumar. The extent to which Samarth Jurel comes so close to Abhishek Kumar that the latter lands up raising his hand on him!
That’s all it takes for Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel to call out Abhishek Kumar for his physical assault. Post that, Abhishek Kumar talks to Bigg Boss that, even though he is totally apologetic about the whole incident, he also said that Samarth had put tissue paper in his mouth. He also spoke to Munawar Faruqui that, even though he is feeling bad (about him slapping Samarth), he made it a point to say that Samarth provoked him to a large extent. When Bigg Boss called Arun Mashetty, Mannara Chopra and Ankita Lokhande to discuss what exactly went wrong with Abhishek Kumar, the trio spoke about their take on the entire incident.
Thereafter starts the ‘cool race’ to captaincy that had three ex captains Aoora, Munawar Faruqui and Isha Malviya in meditation. And the contestants had to convince them with reasons why they should choose them as the captain. After a cool and cold race to captaincy (which was held amidst the make-shift snow mountains), it was Ankita Lokhande who became the new captain!
