The latest nomination task on Bigg Boss 17 turned out to be torturous for Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, Arun Mashettey, and Munawar Faruqui. Ayesha Khan left no stone unturned to make Mannara leave the buzzer in the task. She continued to apply red chilli powder on her face despite the actress' repeated requests to avoid it. Following this incident on BB 17, former Bigg Boss contestant Andy Kumar reacted to the matter on his official X account.
Andy Kumar supports Mannara Chopra
Andy Kumar, who was a part of Bigg Boss 7, took a stand for Mannara Chopra on social media. He felt the way Mannara was 'attacked' and 'tortured' in the task was 'nasty'. He also called out others for not voicing their opinion about this incident.
"If Mannara had done this so many voices would call her what not! Where are those voices now? (sic)," he wrote on X. Andy's tweet could be hinted at people who didn't call out Ayesha Khan for being so brutal during the nomination task.
Mannara Chopra 'tortured' by Ayesha Khan
For the unaware, Ayesha Khan, Vicky Jain, Ankita Lokhande, and Isha Malviya's first aim was to oust Mannara Chopra from the task. Hence, all four of them targeted Mannara by splashing water and red chili powder on her face. While Ayesha continued to put the powder on the actress' face, Isha Malviya insisted on splashing water on Mannara's face for some relief. However, Khan asked Isha to avoid doing so.
Eventually, Mannara couldn't handle it and left the buzzer and she had to be out of the task along with Munawar Faruqui. Later, Abhishek Kumar and Arun Mashettey also lost their grip on the buzzer.
Are Mannara Chopra and co. nominated?
Well, after Vicky Jain and his teammates decided to hide all spices to avoid being tortured by it, Bigg Boss gave a big advantage to Mannara and co. They were given a chance to disqualify Vicky's team and nominate them or make sure his team was ousted from the task within 30 minutes. As per social media buzz, Mannara and her team members decided to nominate Vicky, Ankita, Ayesha, and Isha on Bigg Boss 17.
