Akbar's derogatory comment on Renu Sudhi

Akbar had referred to Renu Sudhi as a "septic tank" when a task was given to the contestants to give nicknames to each other. The late actor Kollam Sudhi's wife, Renu Sudhi, expressed her agony at his remarks, saying he had disrespected not only her but also womanhood in general. She continued by saying that she was in BB as a voice for people who are single and under constant scrutiny by the public. Later, Akbar clarified that he merely meant that Renu's content was "waste" in the show and that he was prepared to apologise if his remarks caused discomfort to her.
