Before Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5 premieres, Dilsha Prasannan, the winner of last year’s edition of the reality show, has announced that she is all set to make her big screen debut with a movie titled Ohh… Cinderella.
The dancer-TV personality took to her social media page to make the announcement, while sharing the first look poster of the movie along with revealing its cast and crew. The movie, which will be produced by Anoop Menon, is helmed by Renolze Rehman and has Mahadevan Thampi as its cinematographer.

Dilsha thanks Mahadevan as well as Anoop Menon in the post. “Thank you so much for this beautiful opening and thank you for trusting and guiding me,” she wrote. Anoop as well as Aju Varghese is part of the cast of the movie.
Soon after she had posted the poster, her fellow Bigg Boss Season 4 contestants Riyas Salim and Jasmine Moosa reacted to the announcement. Riyas also took a dig at Robin Radhakrishnan, saying, “You are doing it! It’s hard work, not just announcements and shortcuts.” Meanwhile, Jasmine wrote, “Many more to go.”
Dilsha’s announcement comes just a week before the premiere for Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5, which is set to begin from March 26. This year’s edition, which will also be hosted by Mohanlal, will be set in Mumbai and has the theme – The Battle for Originals. A source from Asianet tells us, “The contestants were picked keeping the theme in mind. They are unique personalities who have their own original perspective about things.”
On the rumour that this year’s edition will have 22 contestants – the highest yet, the source said, “All that has not been confirmed.” Apart from the contestants picked by the channel, this time an audience member will also be picked from a competition. The show will also be available to streamin on Disney+ Hotstar.
