Bigg Boss OTT 2: Salman Khan is all about tough love, says Bebika Dhurve | EXCLUSIVE

Bebika Dhurve is definitely one of the talked about contestants in the ongoing season of Bigg Boss OTT 2. After having debuted as an actress in the serial 'Bhagyalakshmi', she quit the show because she was mistreated by some co-actors, she was reported telling ETimes in an interview. Definitely the one to call a spade a spade, this ‘I mince no words’ lady and her full throttle confidence is definitely something that will make her a strong contender in the show.

Bebika Dhurve exclusively to OTTplay before entering the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house.

Hi Bebika! What’s your background like? We hear that you are a doctor and an astrologer as well? Strange but an awesome combination, must say!
Iam a professional astrologer. I am the ninth generation in our family of astrologers. I am taking the legacy ahead. And yes, I am also a doctor. I am starting my career as a doctor in Dubai.

Are you carrying any good luck charm with you inside the house? Who gave you that?
My father’s blessings. That itself means the world to me. My father Shri Janardhan is a world-renowned astrologer.

Have you followed the first season of ‘Bigg Boss OTT’?
Not the OTT format. But I did follow the TV format. I saw a major chunk of the MC Stan’s season.

Did you ever manifest or imagine yourself to be a part of the Bigg Boss OTT 2?
Never ever I thought that I will be doing ‘Bigg Boss’. My friends did tell me that I should go to ‘Bigg Boss’ as I was an ideal contestant in the show. They also told me that I can be an awesome actress as well. Maybe they (my friends) had manifested for me to be in the Bigg Boss house! So... here I am!

Have you visited any temple/s before entering the Bigg Boss house?
The most primitive and the first ever blessing that I always crave for is that of my grandmother and my parents. I also worship all the rituals in my family. I have flown all the way from Dubai only to participate in the show. For me, my parents mean the temple and their blessings are everything. But no matter what happens… the very moment I step out of the house, I will show my gratitude.

What stuff will you be carrying with you inside the house?
All my clothing, makeup and every basic thing. And, of course, I also want to carry a small Ganpati Bappa’s idol with me. They (the makers) might not allow me for that. But I will keep it hiding, because I want Bappa with me all the time.

CONFESSION TIME! Are you short tempered? Do you think that, your co-contestants will take advantage of the fact that you are shot-tempered?
I am passively aggressive. When my lava blows off… it really blows off very badly! At the same time, I am a calm and collected person by nature. I leave a good impact on people. I am not a diplomatic person as I am really straight forward.

Don’t you think that being straight forward might work against you as you need a bit of diplomacy whilst inside the Bigg Boss house?
Trust me, it will work wonders. Look at Sidharth Shukla. Where was he diplomatic. He was as straight forward! And see... he landed up winning the show. Its all about being real and showing your true self!

We know how close are you to your family. What will you do if you miss them while you are inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house?
I will make camera my medium to reach out to my family. I am not that much interested in talking to my fellow contestants as much I am interested in talking to the junta-janardhan. Oh! By the way… Janardhan also happens to be my father’s name! (laughs)

Who do you think is a better host for Bigg Boss OTT 2: Salman Khan or Karan Johar?
At any cost… Salman sir. He has always nailed the game throughout. As far as Karan sir is concerned, I haven’t seen him hosting. Hence, I cannot comment on him. But I am sure that Karan sir is the relatable one while Salman sir is the super strict person. Salman sir is all about tough love.

What, in your opinion, are the qualities that you have that will make you a winner?
I have the highest emotional intelligence. I can relate with the audience the most in the house. I also have the best leadership qualities. And when you have the highest leadership qualities, one can easily be a winner.
