Bigg Boss Ultimate! Day 17: Contestants have a gala time appearing in retro look for a new task

Though two contestants, Suresh Chakravarthy and Suja Varunee, are no more in the Bigg Boss house, there is no dearth of fun, thanks to the never-ending challenges and innovative tasks which the housemates are required to perform. The latest is a college episode where all the 12 participants were asked to undergo a makeover.

According to the task, the housemates should sport retro looks and create an ambience of a college class room of the 80s. It took a few hours for them to get ready in their respective costumes. 

All of them had fun wearing bell bottom pants, vibrant outfits, gaudy goggles and printed sarees. A few like Thadi Balaji and Snehan chose to sport a wig. Thadi Balaji, Abhinay and Anitha were elected as teachers while the remaining nine housemates were asked to play the roles of students.

The college episode began with students and teachers introducing themselves and getting to know each other. All the contestants were asked to pick new names for themselves in the classroom.  

Everything was going well until Vanitha and Balaji Murugadoss had a fallout. The former didn't like the manner in which the latter was lackadaisically approaching the game. An irked Balaji reacted harshly to Vanitha and asked her not to discourage during the middle of a task. He also went on to say that she has the habit of constantly discouraging housemates while performing games. 

Vanitha retorted, "Why do you get discouraged when I come up with a genuine complaint? I can't do anything if you are discouraged because of my criticism." Balaji was seen quite furious and asked her not to intrude in his style of playing the game. The model-turned-actor also blamed her for complaining unnecessarily and interrupting tasks.
