Bigg Boss Ultimate! Day 60: Suruthi walks away with a prize money of ₹15 lakh from the house

Like the last season of Bigg Boss Tamil, this time, too, contestants were given a chance to quit the show after they were offered a sum of ₹15 lakh. Interestingly, the number of contestants in the house were seven during the previous season as well. Julie, Balaji, Niroop, Abhirami, Thamarai, Ramya and Suruthi were the contestants in the house when Bigg Boss came up with this offer.

While others did not seem to be interested in quitting the show, Julie and Suruthi were in two minds. The two had a conversation about their needs in life and what they would be doing with the money.

Their housemates were as curious as the regular viewers of the show. After discussing it for a few minutes, Suruthi suddenly said that she needed the money and took the suitcase in which the amount was kept. The sudden move from her was unexpected and left others in the house surprised.  

Julie was quite irked with her behaviour and expressed it, though Suruthi had already decided what she wanted. She said, "Anyway, I was ready to take the suitcase today." Viewers praised the smart move from Suruthi. She was on the verge of getting evicted a week ago, but finally, it was Anitha who had to leave the house. 

But Bigg Boss announced that she can't leave with the money without putting in any effort. A couple of physical tasks were introduced where Suruthi and Julie had to compete with each other. 

Suruthi won both the tasks and obtained qualification to leave the house on her will with a sum of ₹15 lakh. However, netizens are divided over her decision. While a few felt that she took the right decision at the right time, there are many who felt that Julie deserved the money.
