The much-awaited first single from Anudeep's bilingual film Prince Bimbilikki Pilapi is here! The peppy track composed by Thaman reminds us of a few earlier compositions. Nevertheless, the song which has been crooned by Anirudh Ravichander, Ramya Behara and Sahithi Chaganti is enjoyable.
It looks like the song will be a hit among fans of Siva, thanks to his flawless dance moves and his chemistry with the film's female lead Maria Riaboshapka. Interestingly, the song has an 'Anirudh connection', too. The singer-composer has been a lucky mascot for the actor from the beginning of his career.
Vivek's lyrics reminds of the song Jalabula Jung from Sivakarthikeyan's previous outing Don which was also composed by Anirudh. The quirky lyrics of Bimbilikki Pilapi are in sync with the genre of Prince; the movie is touted to be a fun-filled entertainer which revolves around the relationship between a tourist from London and a tourist guide who is based out of Pondicherry.
GK Vishnu and Praveen KL have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the project which has dance choreography helmed by Sathish Krishnan and Shobi Paulraj. Dinesh Subbarayan has composed action scenes while Narayana Reddy is in charge of art direction.
Prince, which is slated for a theatrical release around Deepavali in Tamil and Telugu, has Sathyaraj and Premgi Amaren essaying pivotal roles in it. Suniel Narang, D Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao have jointly bankrolled the project which is Siva's first bilingual movie.
The film will have a box office clash with Karthi's Sardar. The last time movies of Siva and Karthi released around the same time was in 2019. The former's Hero and the latter's Thambi were released on December 20.
