Anurag Kashyap reportedly cast Bobby Deol as the lead in a grim thriller last month. Filming has begun on the untitled project in Mumbai, and news that three popular actors have joined the cast has only added to the anticipation.
Peeping Moon reports that Kashyap has cast Sanya Malhotra, Joju George, and Saba Azad as important characters alongside Deol in his film. Having worked with Deol in Love Hostel, a Shah Rukh Khan production, Sanya is thrilled to reunite with him in a film by Kashyap. With credits including Vishal Bhardwaj, Nitesh Tiwari, and Ritesh Batra, this is a remarkable addition to her filmography.
Saba Azad is well-known for her part in Sony LIV's blockbuster series, Rocket Boys, while Joju George, who is well-known in Malayalam, will be making his debut in Hindi cinema with this film. They are all three major roles in the story, which centres on Deol's character.

Makers have currently kept the film's plot elements under wraps, but it's believed to be a shocking thriller based on a sensitive real-life incident. Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee wrote the script, and Nikhil Dwivedi is producing the film. Principal photography for the film began on May 14 and will primarily take place in Mumbai until June 2024.
In addition to two Bollywood films, a web series, and three South Indian and pan-Indian films, Deol's forthcoming stellar lineup will include the Kashyap film. After completing this project, the actor will begin filming Yash Raj Films' first female-led spy thriller, starring Sharvari and Alia Bhatt. He has a full slate of upcoming projects, including Kanguva, Suriya's much-anticipated Tamil fantasy epic; Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Pawan Kalyan's Telugu period actioner; NBK109, Nandamuri Balakrishna; Stardom, Aryan Khan's debut series; and Desi Sherlock, Kunal Kohli's investigative drama.
