Anupam Kher's next directorial film, Tanvi The Great, features Boman Irani in the lead role. The director has spilled the news by sharing a poster of the actor on his social media handles. The movie is scheduled to premiere at Cannes 2025 pretty soon.

Anupam Kher has unveiled Boman Irani's look through the poster of Tanvi The Great. The Housefull 2 actor plays the role of a musical genius named Raza Saab in the movie. The poster sees the actor smile with a wrinkled forehead and reading glasses on. The glimpse further sees the Himalayas and piano in the form of stairs on each side. Tanvi The Great will release as a part of Cannes Film Festival 2025, but when would the movie be out in theatres or on OTT, is yet uncertain. The poster also reads, “Coming soon,” thus having no hints of the actual release date of the movie.

Anupam Kher appreciates Boman Irani

"When I narrated him just the idea of #TanviTheGreat he immediately said he will be part of our film," Anupam Kher shared along with the poster. The director praised Boman as both an actor as well as a human being, calling him an 'asset for life.' Explaining how the film was shot, Kher added that Irani giving his nod in appreciation of the scenes meant the world to him. "The depth you brought to the character makes #Tanvi – GREAT!," Kher added. Previously, The Mehta Boys actor Boman Irani had shared how Tanvi The Great moved him to tears.
