Bomb, the recently released rural drama starring actors Arjun Das and Kaali Venkat in the lead roles, is going to make its OTT debut. Aha Tamil has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights, and has announced the premiere date this week. You can also watch Bomb via OTTplay Premium very soon.

Bomb is a political satire which released in theatres in September. Following its big screen run, the film is soon set to make OTT premiere. Aha Tamil has announced that Bomb will release on the platform on October 10. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can watch the film through their plans, this weekend.

Bomb stars actors Arjun Das and Kaali Venkat in the lead roles. The film is written and directed by Vishal Venkat who previously made Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal (which is also available on OTTplay Premium), and is a political satire set in a fictional village. Bomb is about a village which is divided over communal beliefs and superstition. However, when a man from one of the villages, die, his body gets hailed with divine power after he continuously farts. The rest of the film is about his friend from the village who struggles with coming in terms of what is happening and fighting blind faith.

With Kaali Venkat playing the dead man and Arjun Das appearing his friend, the film also stars Shivathmika Rajashekar, Kaali Venkat, Nassar, Abhirami, Singampuli, Balasaravanan and others in important roles. Even as Bomb did not make quite a blast in theatres, the film was hailed for the lead actors’ performances.
The story has been penned by Vishal Venkat along with Manikandan Mathavan and Abishek Sabarigirison. D Imman has scored the music for Bomb and Rajkumar PM shot it. Prasanna GK is the editor, and the dialogues have been penned by Makizhnan BM, Manikandan and Abishek.
