After several postponements, Arivazhagan's action drama Borrder, starring Arun Vijay in the lead, was scheduled for a release on February 24. There were unconfirmed reports that the movie might skip release this time as well. Now, the makers have come up with an official announcement, informing that the release has been postponed again.

The social media page of producer T Vijayaragavendra's production house, All In Pictures, regretted their decision and said that "uncertain situations" have forced them to change the plans again. This is the fourth time the team is postponing the release date; the action drama was initially supposed to hit the screens in 2021.

The production house also issued a press note in which they have informed that the movie is likely to be released in March and that the exact release date will be updated soon. Regina Cassandra and Stefy Patel play crucial characters in the film which has cinematography by B Rajasekar, music by Sam CS and editing by Sabu Joseph.

Shakthee Venkatraj and Stunt Silva have handled art direction and action choreography respectively for Borrder which will be Arun's first outing in 2023. The actor had four releases last year, including two direct-to-OTT releases. He had also made his digital debut and web series debut in 2022.

The actor currently has almost half-a-dozen projects in his kitty, including the much-delayed Vaa Deal which was completed around ten years ago. The movie was supposed to have a direct-to-OTT release in 2021, but the makers changed their plans after which there has been no update on the movie.

If everything goes well, his next release this year would be Acham Enbathu Illayae.
