Bramayugam Box Office first weekend collection – Mammootty's film mints Rs 31 crore worldwide

Bramayugam, the highly anticipated period horror thriller, hit the theatres on February 15, 2024. Mammootty played the lead role in the movie, which is helmed by the talented filmmaker Rahul Sadasivan. The project, which is made in the black-and-white format, has been receiving excellent reviews from both audiences and critics. Interestingly, Bramayugam already earned blockbuster status at the box office, when it completed the first weekend (4 days) of its release.

Bramayugam mints Rs 31 crore at the box office

As per the recent updates from the trade experts, Bramayugam has made a total collection of Rs 31 crore at the worldwide box office, when it completed the first weekend (4 days) of its release. This is indeed a major achievement for the Rahul Sadasivan directorial, which is an experimental film made in the black-and-white format. As per the reports, the period horror thriller has now emerged as the third biggest weekend opener in the career of its leading man Mammootty, after Bheeshma Parvam and Kannur Squad.

Trade analysts suggest that Bramayugam has made a total collection of around Rs 14 crore from the Kerala box office alone, within its first weekend in theatres. Interestingly, the Mammootty-starrer has been performing even better at the overseas centers, especially the UAE and GCC box office. The movie has reportedly made an overseas collection of over Rs 15 crore, so far. The rest of India's box office collection, on the other hand, had exceeded Rs 2 crore.

Bramayugam box office - What is on the cards?

Things are expected to get even better for Bramayugam from the upcoming weekend, as the other language versions of the film are gearing up for release. If the reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to release the Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi versions of the Mammootty-starrer on 22 or 23 of February 2024. While considering the excellent reviews and word-of-mouth publicity, it is safe to assume that Bramayugam dubbed versions are going to perform exceedingly well, especially at the Rest of India and overseas box office.
