Bramayugam, the highly anticipated period horror thriller which features megastar Mammootty in the lead role, hit the theatres on February 15, 2024. The movie, which is helmed by the Bhoothakaalam fame director Rahul Sadasivan, has been receiving extraordinary reviews from both the audiences and critics. When it completed the first three days of its release, Bramayugam had already earned superhit status at the box office.
As per the recent updates, the Mammootty starrer has registered its biggest single day collection on the third day of its release. The period horror thriller has already crossed the Rs. 23 crore mark at the worldwide box office, within the first three days of its release.
As per the recent updates, Bramayugam has made a total collection of Rs. 23 crore from Kerala, the rest of India, and the overseas box office together, within the first three days of its release. Interestingly, the Rahul Sadasivan directorial surpassed its Day 1 and Day 2 collections with the third-day collection, thanks to the increasing screens and show counts.
The reports also suggest that the period horror thriller already emerged as its leading man Mammootty’s biggest opener in many of the overseas centers. A detailed collection report breakdown is expected to be revealed very soon.
If things proceed at the same rate, Bramayugam is confirmed to have a massive Sunday at the theatres. The Mammootty starrer has all the possibilities to cross the Rs. 30 crore mark at the box office, within the first 4 days (first weekend) of the release.

The period horror thriller has been performing exceedingly well at the UAE and GCC centers, which have been showcasing more than 800 shows per day. Interestingly, Bramayugam has been 1000 plus shows across Kerala, per day. It is also highly possible for the film to cross even the Rs. 50 crore and Rs. 60 crore marks of Malayalam film industry.
