Since enlisting in the South Korean military service, BTS' youngest member, Jeon Jung-kook aka Jungkook has not been active online much. This has been a stark difference compared to before his enlistment when he used to go online and communicate with ARMY for hours on end, and even hold mini-concerts, chat, and even sleep when the live streams were on literally every alternate day.

So, when on March 16, 2024 (Saturday) Jungkook went on Weverse to pen a heartfelt message for the fans, ARMY could not help but rejoice and shed tears of joy.

In his post on the artist-to-fan communication app Weverse, Jungkook wrote in Korean, which is roughly translated to: "ARMY, how are you doing? I'm doing well. I've been working out a lot, too. I'm doing a great job cleaning up the ceiling. I'm cooking well, too. It's already mid-March. I'll see you again. I miss you a lot. Unity!"

Soon enough, ARMY took to social media, particularly X (formerly known as Twitter), to express their joy and how good they felt to receive the notification from the app that stated the 'Golden Maknae' (youngest member) had posted something for them.

Where is Jungkook?

Just like his bandmates Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, and Kim Taehyung, Jungkook is also enlisted in the South Korean mandatory military service.

Before his enlistment, Jungkook released his album 'GOLDEN', featuring standout tracks like 'Standing Next To You', which continues to set records. Recently, it became the song dominating the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for 18 consecutive weeks, surpassing his previous collaboration with Charlie Puth on 'Left and Right', which enjoyed a commendable 17-week run.

Additionally, his solo collaborations, including "Seven" featuring Latto and "3D" featuring Jack Harlow, remain chart-toppers.

His anticipated discharge is in June 2025, likely on June 11, 2025. The whole group has already planned a comeback for the coming year when all seven members will reunite.
