Leader, President, and one of the best rappers from South Korea, Kim Namjoon is known for his pen game and moving lyrics. As the leader of the biggest band in the world, BTS, also known by his stage name RM (Real Me), he is not just a rapper but also a songwriter, composer, and producer. 

While he is enlisted in the South Korean military service, he is ensuring that their fans, ARMY, don't miss him much as he is set to release his new album 'Right Place, Wrong Person.' With his new album all set to be released, let's take a look at the masterpieces RM has released so far - these are his four albums.

RM

This mixtape, released on March 20, 2015, was uploaded to SoundCloud by Big Hit Entertainment. It consists of eleven tracks in which RM addresses his critics, reflects on his insecurities and doubts, and expresses his belief in himself.

MONO.

This album, released on October 23, 2018, by Big Hit Entertainment, comprises seven tracks. Alongside its release, an animated music video for the final track, 'Forever Rain', was also unveiled. RM himself described the project as a playlist, though some publications have labelled it a mixtape. It secured the 6th position on Billboard's 'The 20 Best K-Pop Albums of 2018: Critics' Picks'.

Indigo

Released on December 2, 2022, under Big Hit Music, this album represents the rapper's first full-length project since 'MONO'. Comprising 10 tracks, it features collaborations with artists such as Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, Tablo of Epik High, Kim Sa-wol, Paul Blanco, Mahalia, Colde, Youjeen of Cherry Filter, and Park Ji-Yoon.

The Recording Academy praised RM for "showcasing a new level of artistry" on Indigo, while Rolling Stone remarked, "Heavy is the head that wears the crown" about RM. It claimed the top spot on Billboard's '25 Best K-pop Albums of 2022'.

Set to be released on May 24, 2024, it will feature 11 tracks 'infused with alternative music and rich sounds', according to the press release. "Right Place, Wrong Person embodies facets of RM as a solo artist, distinct from albums released under BTS", label Big Hit said in a statement.

BICYCLE

Originally released unofficially on June 7, 2021, as part of the 2021 BTS Festa, it was officially released on November 29, 2022, on global music platforms.
