Buzz: Akshay Kumar to be accompanied by Samantha on the much-awaited show Koffee With Karan 7

A couple of days ago, filmmaker Karan Johar announced officially that the seventh season of Koffee With Karan will be dropping on Disney+ Hotstar on July 7. Ever since the news became official, speculation has started doing the rounds with regard to celebs attending the show. 

It is heard that Janhvi Kapoor and Sara Ali Khan will be the first set of guests who will appear in the first episode of the much-awaited show. The names of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey and Akshay Kumar among others have also been doing the rounds. 

The grapevine has it that Akshay Kumar will be accompanied by none other than Samantha on one of the show's episodes. Movie buffs and fans of the show have been wondering about the unexpected combination that is expected to pique their interest in the coming days.

Though the two of them were seen together in an advertisement which was released earlier this year, they haven't shared screen space in a film. Fans of both Akshay and Samantha are curious about their chemistry in the show and are awaiting an official confirmation of them coming together.

It is also heard that Samantha is likely to spill the beans about her separation with Naga Chaitanya during the interaction with Karan Johar. The celeb couple who announced their divorce in October last year never opened up about the sudden decision they made despite many coming up with cock and bull stories.

Needless to say, this news has created more buzz on social media, and some of the actress' fans from across the country who weren't much bothered about the show are now waiting for it. This reminds us of the caption Karan posted along with the seventh season's announcement, "It’s bigger, it's better and the brew is piping hot".
