Buzz: Elli Avr Ram to be paired opposite Dhanush in Selvaraghavan's most-anticipated Naane Varuven

A few days ago, director Selvaraghavan revealed a new poster featuring an uber cool Dhanush in it from his upcoming movie Naane Varuven. The film which is being produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu will have the actor playing dual roles for the first time in his career. The project is currently in its last stage of production.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film; the musician had earlier revealed that he is done with composition of a few songs already. The movie marks the collaboration of Dhanush and Selva after Mayakkam Enna which released in 2011.

The latest we hear about the project is that Swedish actress Elli Avr Ram will be playing one of the female leads of the film which is expected to release in theatres later this year. Indhuja was already brought on board to play one of the characters who will be paired opposite Dhanush.

Elli's debut in Tamil was Paris Paris which starred Kajal Aggarwal in lead role. The movie which is the remake of Bollywood film Queen, however, is yet to be released. Ramesh Arvind has directed the film. Surprisingly, none of the southern remakes of Queen made it to theatres due to reasons best known to makers.

The actress had recently shared a few posts Selva had posted on Naane Varuven from her social media. According to a source, an official confirmation on her inclusion in the cast will be made soon.

Selva, too, will be seen essaying an important character in the movie. The filmmaker's acting debut, Saani Kaayidham, and second film as an actor, Beast, will be released in April. The first one will have a direct OTT release while the latter will hit the screens on April 13.
