BUZZ: Is Uday Chopra playing a supporting role in ‘WAR 2’?

Just a few days ago, we had written about Hrithik Roshan being signed up to play the lead role in ‘WAR 2’, which happens to be the sequel of WAR, which starred Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the lead roles. The very moment the news about Hrithik Roshan being signed up for ‘WAR 2’ surfaced, it truly brought a smile to many in the trade circles as well as the cinegoers also. The reason being that, ‘WAR 2’ also treads in the same zone of action, an arena which Hrithik Roshan has mastered and how! And helming the director’s chair will be none other than the man of the moment Ayan Mukerji, who has now been escalated into the league of extraordinary filmmakers with the success of films like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, ‘Brahmastra’ and others.

There came a news report which stated that the ‘global superstar’ NTR Jr has now been signed up for WAR 2 and will be seen locking horns with Hrithik Roshan. Given the global stature that NTR Jr is enjoying now, it only seems that the makers of ‘WAR 2’ are surely sitting on a goldmine. The latest update (read ‘buzz’) about ‘WAR 2’ is that, Uday Chopra has now been signed for the film WAR 2. If the reports are to be believed, then, Uday Chopra will be seen in a supporting role in the film. Readers may note that, the aforementioned news about Uday Chopra being a part of ‘WAR 2’ is totally based on trade buzz. There has been no official confirmation or announcement regarding Uday Chopra coming on board with the Ayan Mukerji directed ‘WAR 2’.

Speaking of Uday Chopra, he was in the news because of his accent in ‘The Romantics’. A small video clip of the same had gone viral on Reddit, wherein Uday was talking about his relationship when he was young. While some called it the American accent, there were others who termed it as a ‘British accent’.
