Buzz: Kamal Haasan to team up with AK 61 director H Vinoth for a project to be bankrolled by Raaj Kamal Films

It looks like the gargantuan success of Vikram has made Kamal Haasan think of interesting projects under the banner of his production house Raaj Kamal Films International. An untitled movie with Sivakarthikeyan under the direction of Rajkumar Periyasamy was announced much before the release of Vikram.

In all probability, this would be the first project from the banner that is likely to go on floors first. Recently, Kamal announced that Udhayanidhi who distributed Vikram in Tamil Nadu will play the lead in one of the upcoming movies of Raaj Kamal. Later, Udhay expressed excitement about starring in a film that is going to be bankrolled by the leading production house.

The news had left many movie buffs surprised. There are reports of Silambarasan, too, doing a project under the production house, though much details aren't available now. The latest we hear is that director H Vinoth has agreed to helm a film under Raaj Kamal Films.

Though it is not known as to which star the filmmaker is going to direct, sources say that an official announcement on all the films to be produced under the production house is likely to be made soon.

Vinoth is currently busy shooting AK 61, starring Ajith in the lead. The untitled, much-awaited heist thriller, produced by Boney Kapoor, was earlier supposed to hit the screens on Deepavali. But it looks like the team has some other plans.

Karthi-starrer Sardar and Sivakarthikeyan-starrer Prince have been already announced as Deepavali releases sometime ago. Going by a few trusted sources, AK 61 is likely to hit the screens in December. Manju Warrier, Kavin, Ajay and Veera play pivotal characters in the project which has music by Ghibran.
