Director Anoop S Panicker's Cadaver, starring Amala Paul in the lead, is set for a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar on August 12. Billed as an investigative thriller, the film has the actress playing the role of a forensic surgeon in it. The makers have now released a sneak peek video from the movie.

It begins with Harish Uthaman informing her that it's too late for something while Munishkanth apologizes to her that it's all because of his miscalculation. Though the makers haven't exactly revealed what they are talking about, it is clear that they are facing a roadblock during a crucial investigation.

Amala, Harish and Munishkanth play Bhadra, Vishal and Michael respectively in the movie which revolves around the mysterious death of a young girl. The sneak peek video has Amala saying that she has a plan, leaving Munishkanth and Harish surprised.

She says, "As a forensic surgeon, I can do autopsy as early as possible in the morning. I have the rights to do it." Harish expresses hopefulness on listening to her plan. She further adds, "We should be able to do re-postmortem before the Judge decides whether he should go to court tomorrow or not."

When Harish lauds her idea and says that they can't take any more risk, Amala interferes and says that they have a small, but important job to do before the re-postmortem. The scene ends abruptly, leaving movie buffs curious about the murder and their further plans.

Abhilash Pillai has penned story and screenplay for Cadaver which has cinematography by Aravind Singh and editing by San Lokesh. Ranjin Raj and Vicky have handled music direction and action choreography respectively for the movie.
