Earlier, while sharing her first look from the Festival while attending the gala event in the South of France, the actress posted a few pictures on her social media. Preity is seen posing by the riverside in the pictures which she captioned: "Oh Cannes, so happy to be back," and added a heart emoji. The actress looked beautiful in a white gown.

Preity Zinta is attending Cannes to present the Pierre Angenieux ExcelLens in Cinematography award to DOP Santosh Sivan. For the uninitiated, the actress has worked with the cinematographer in the film Dil Se, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. She is also set to make a comeback in the movies with the film Lahore 1947, in which she will reunite with Sivan.

As you all know Preity took a break from acting and is now set to make a comeback after 6 long years. Talking about the same with DD India, she said, "I didn't want to do a film. I was focusing on business, I wanted to focus on my personal life. People forget that for women, as actors, your craft is important, you want a body of work, but you have a biological clock."
