The 11th Season of the Celebrity Cricket League, the marquee event featuring stars from 7 different film industries engaged in a pulsating T20 tournament, began on February 8, with a split weekend – one day in Bengaluru and the next in Delhi. Over the two days, all 7 of the participating teams were in action, with one having to play a second too, owing to the scheduling changes after the 8th team, Kerala Strikers, pulled out of the tournament.
Results of Week 1 of CCL 2025
Day 1 of CCL on February 8 was in Bengaluru, where, the first match had defending champions Bengal Tigers play two-time winners Chennai Rhinos. The Bengal Tigers secured victory, giving their title defence a good start. The second match of the day, had the home team, Karnataka Bulldozers play the Telugu Warriors, a team that had a slight advantage in terms of win ratio over Kiccha Sudeep and co. The Bulldozers did not disappoint the packed to capacity crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium and notched up their first victory of Season 11.

Day 2 of CCL on February 9 then moved to Delhi, where the Arun Jaitley Stadium had the Bengal Tigers yet again in action in less than 24 hours since their last match. This time they were up against Punjab De Sher, who, under the leadership of Harrdy Sandhu, gave the defending champions a tough fight. But it was just not enough, as the Tigers recorded their second straight victory.
The big match of the day was the one with the Mumbai Heroes against the Bhojpuri Dabanggs, which, as of now, is the highest scoring match of the tournament. Manoj Tiwari’s team made the Heroes sweat and then produced one of the finest victories of CCL.
