It is the start of the second week of the Celebrity Cricket League 2025 and 5 of the 7 participating teams – Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Telugu Warriors, Chennai Rhinos and Bhojpuri Dabanggs – have headed to Hyderabad, for the first leg of this schedule in Hyderabad. The matches of February 14 and 15 will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, following which 4 teams head to Cuttack on February 16.
The second week of CCL is quite crucial, because by the end of it, most teams, except Punjab De Sher, would have played 3 of their mandatory 4 group stage matches each, and the possible semi-finalists will be apparent. Currently, defending champions Bengal Tigers are at the top of the leadership board, having won both of their group stage matches in week 1.

The first match on February 14 is between the Kiccha Sudeep-led Karnataka Bulldozers and the Vikranth-led Chennai Rhinos. Both sides have won the tournament twice, with the Rhinos winning the first two editions, beating the Bulldozers in the process. Sudeep’s team, though, has the distinction of having played 7 of the last 10 finals, which puts them at an advantage against the Rhinos.
In Week 1 of CCL 2025, the Rhinos began their campaign with a loss against defending champions Bengal Tigers, while the Bulldozers fought off a spirited attempt by the Telugu Warriors and registered their first win. The Karnataka Bulldozers vs Chennai Rhinos match begins at 2 pm.

The 2nd match of the day has home favourites Telugu Warriors taking on the Bhojpuri Dabanggs in what is a repeat of the 2023 final. Given that the Warriors lost their first match against the Bulldozers, while the Dabanggs were in a high-scoring match against the Heroes and prevailed, could be indication that Manoj Tiwari’s boys will want to change their track record against the Akhil Akkineni-led side. This match is scheduled to begin at 6.30 pm.
