Champion locks OTT platform: Where to stream Roshan Meka's period drama online

Champion is a period drama that is all set to hit the screens on December 25, 2025. Roshan, the son of star hero Srikanth Meka, is playing the main lead in this film, which is being backed by the makers of Mahanati, Kalki 2898 AD, Jathi Ratnalu, and Sita Ramam.

We at OTTplay have come to know that Netflix has bagged the digital rights to the film for a fancy price. As per the latest update, Netflix will stream Champion in the third week of January 2026, soon after its theatrical run. This deal has given the makers a major boost ahead of the film’s release.

The film has been directed by Pradeep Advaitham and has been made on a massive budget of ₹43 crore. This budget is almost three times Roshan’s current market value, but the makers are confident about the film’s prospects. They believe that the strong storyline, period setting, and sports backdrop will attract audiences across all sections.

Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan is making her Telugu debut with Champion, and her role is said to be quite crucial to the narrative.
